The Institute Of Music In Medicine (IMIM) is a Charitable benevolent foundation ( ACN 121 705 271). It's primary focus is “to foster and advocate the therapeutic uses of music in medical care” in particular, live music, in critical and palliative care settings.

The IMIM is currently seeking funds to support the offering of no-charge musical care to patients in palliative care, and for the development of this work. Once sufficient funds are received it is envisioned that the field of music-thanatology will be advanced through the training of music practitioners in Geelong Australia. See Training.

The IMIM has Deductable Gift Recipient status. Gifts or bequests are tax deductible and are most welcomed.
