Music has been a source of wonder for centuries.

What is it about music that moves us so deeply?
Do you find certain music consoling or calming?
Can music restore in you a sense of peace?
Has it ever brought you to tears?
I personally can put my hand up and say 'yes' to all of the above.
My name is Peter Roberts.
I have been fascinated by music for as long as I can remember.

Initially my music was always a source of pleasure and fun, but over the years my interest has evolved into a deep appreciation of music's role in benefiting people facing personal difficulties.
So much so, that I changed my life's direction mid-way and returned to school for two and a half years to study a specialised form of music solely focused on assisting people to cope with the passing of their lives. Since 1997 my occupation has been solely focussed on the therapeutic aspects of music in medical care.

These days I also play for tiny premature babies, people facing life threatening illness, people coping with difficult medical procedures and those coping with difficult personal issues.
The effect of my music has now been extensively researched and evaluated and I have presented at conferences in many states of Australia, Malaysia and the United States.

My involvement in this field has gathered an increasing amount of media interest over the years and on this site you will find links to some of those articles and interviews etc.
